Adding tab to signals window in gmoccapy plasma

I've run out of room and want to add 1 or 2 more fields so I thought "Wouldn't be nice if I could add some tabs to one of the plasma windows?"

Changing the glade file was easy but I can't get the tabs to display correctly. The tab shown is the last one in the notepad but the signals are on the first tab.

I followed Big John's Glade tutorial and all that did was to open up a set of tabs in a brand new window so something is not right. Any help would be appreciated..

Got the same result trying to ad the probe tab window

Put this in .ini
EMBED_TAB_NAME = Probe
EMBED_TAB_LOCATION = box_right
EMBED_TAB_COMMAND = the probe tool file from the sim.gmoccapy folder

Hallo rodw,

did you send the correct file? The file you have attached does not contain any notebook widget.

Norbert I know this and you really do provide amazing support! I seem to recall back when the issue was first reported V 2.8 had just been released, it took a bit to get you to acknowledge there was a bug. But then I also found some bugs in Axis GUI at that time when joint axis was brand new. Linux CNC gt it right and the GUI's took a while to catchup!

But at least it was fixed promptly and we moved on. I had a similar instance this last month with an opensource platform that I had purchased a module which was not coded correctly from the every beginning. and I had to ID their bug too!
