Mark, actually you could connect the spare signal to halui.mode.teleop so it would Cunningly select the jogging tab without touching the GUI. I don't think LCNC follows the state so it should stay there until you change the mode in another way (eg by selecting the run tab) Try it.

net pendant-jog <=  hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.input-30
net pendant-jog => halui.mode.teleop

C = Cunningly select jog mode sounds better!
