Hot plug of USB drives was created by mariusl
I am trying to get Gmoccapy to pick up the USB drive if it is hot plugged. I have set the PROGRAM_PREFIX = /media/router.
It would seem that the program only looks at that location during startup and never again. So if I plug the USB drive in after startup the drive is not located. Am I correct in assuming that this is not possible in Gmoccapy?
It is used in other programs like QTPlasmaC so it should be possible.
Does anyone know how to achieve this?
I am using Gmoccapy 3.4.3 on master

It seems that I have to wait a bit longer for the mount to happen. It seems to take a long time to mount though.

What OS? Debian?
USB mounting is Linux duty, GmoccaPy can not do anything about it.
Try different USB sticks if you can, some mount quite fast, some take ages, usually depends on the speed and access time of the stick more than speed of the PC.

Thanks for the reply Tommy
Using Debian Buster. I got linux to mount them but the speed was bad. I will try another stick. I was probably just to impatient.

Another thing, if using extension cable, try to find a better quality one, makes a huge difference.
From experience, i have over 200 USB cables around here and in the shops, most are useless, but i did not know that for sure until i got a USB tester a month ago, now it's probably down to 60 or 70 cables, the rest got binned!
It hurts to think how many times those have caused me grief. The strange thing is, some cheap ones turned out quite good and some expensive ones had to go.
Cheap, but good:
Ugreen
Baseus
Anker
Avoid other cheap ones.
