GTK little probe screen was created by zz912
I am working on modification of Probe Screen by Serguei Glavatski (c) 2015
This modification moved the icons from one window to containers with switchable vertical tabs.
I have a control panel made on the machine.
Unfortunately, I have a display with a low resolution.
So I have to save space on the screen. That's why I used switchable vertical tabs.
At the moment, the Gmoccapy screen is huge, because there is a bug:
github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/3611
What do you think about GTK little probe?
I'm using an old version for modification, if you're interested in the current version, check here:
- vers.ge/en/blog/useful-articles/probe-screen-v28
- github.com/verser-git/probe_screen_v2.9

I started a place to document gladevcp builtin panels:
linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/gui/gladevcp-panels.html
Feel free to add some more detail for people to understand how to add your probe screen.
And thanks for adding your small probe panel!

Hi Chris,
I am working on document gladevcp-panels.html .
github.com/zz912/linuxcnc/commit/82dffc8...3c20d188c83819948735
How to avoid duplication information?
What information should be in Readme.md?
What information should be in gladevcp-panels.html?
Is it possible to link from one document to another?
I would prefer to leave Readme.md as is and add only the usage instructions to gladevcp-panels.html. But it has to be linked to each other.
I don't know how to link them.
Added1:
I tested your new "Available built-in VCP Panels" list and it return [CRITICAL] . Is it OK?

Readme files are not part of the official documentation and AFAIK one can't link to it.
One can link pages of docs to other pages of docs.
this is a pretty good refrence for docs:
docs.asciidoctor.org/asciidoc/latest/syntax-quick-reference/
What should be on the page is what you think users will need to know to use it. keep in mind most users using docs will not be seasoned users so don't assume too much of what they know.
Critical is just to make sure it is always shown. so yes ok.
