Need help finishing install of OneDrive on PathPilot PC

I installed github.com/abraunegg/onedrive on my PathPilot machine, it works fine except that I can't get it running as a service.

Systemctl is not installed, update-rc.d is but says it might change, and sysv-rc-conf is not installed. The Makefile generated by ./configure does not try to install any service, in neither init.d or systemd.

Can anyone give me some guidance on manually installing the init.d or systemd files in the correct place and getting it going as a service?
Once it is running as a service I will create some symlinks from my OneDrive directories to ~/tmc/gcode

(I have zero interest in using Dropbox as I have 1TB if OneDrive space available

Ok, figured it out. The Linux Mint version is somewhere between init.d /upstart/systemd confusion.
I created a suitable init.d script for onedrive based on /etc/init.d/skeleton.
