The common, pin12, is currently connected to -24V

You've got 3 people telling you what to do (PCW, TommyLight and myself) and you are ignoring us. we can't help if you don't follow our instructions.

Change the COM in this picture to +12volt

Your 7i96 is set for active high signals so inputs require +24v so you need to give the Proma +24v to send to the inputs.

Ok, as I understand the admittedly sparse Proma manual the 150's power supply must not be connected to the output or any other circuitry. Rod is correct the common on the Proma output needs to be connected +24V like the rest of your switches.

One other question is the Z homing switch at the top (away from material) of the motion? I am assuming the at the Z jog commands move the correct direction.

I will check over all the configurations files later today or tomorrow morning.

@rodw; it's not that I'm not listening, that's just how I had it set up. I don't have a 12v power supply hanging out and I want to make sure that I can't run it off of the 24v power supply that I have before I spend money buying one.

@Islander261: got it, I'll order up a new PSU specifically for the Proma as well as a computer case for all my electronics.
The z axis is stepping in the correct direction but it does not home yet; I'm working on getting that to work. Thank you.

The Proma manual says its good for 7-35 volts so 24 volts is within that range.

Try it and put us out of our misery.

Just go to your local dump and get a 12 to 24V, 1A wall wart from the e-waste barrel (power supply from ethernet switch, router or modem should work if the voltage is in the correct range). This doesn't need to be fancy.

Try this configuration and report errors. This configuration assumes that your Z home switch is at the maximum positive position ( away from work). Z axis zero is set to near top of travel so most machine Z values when working will be negative (like a milling machine).
