Machine configs done...all axis home perfectly.Machine jogs, Z moves up and down within limits.
Load gcode cut file to do a dry-run on (plasma off). Press play and then two of the tabs are missing (stats/config), and all of the tool files read wrong....worse thing is the Z axis will not move from gcode.
Uploading the ini, hal, and connections.hal. This is an older gcode file I've cut before on v1 of my machine.
Edit: Added pic of the screen showing the missing tabs next to the captured mouse pointer.

The missing tabs usually mean an error when loading LinuxCNC.
Could you run it from a terminal and check for any error messages.

That did it. And Z moves on dry run.
Now the voltage display is way too high....that is probably a connection somewhere YAY...

Check that the voltage offset and voltage scale in the config panel match with your calculations. Now the voltage display is way too high....that is probably a connection somewhere YAY...
