Converting over to Raspberry pi4B

Hi guys been following the other threads on Raspberry pi with base linuxcnc and plasmac. Thought maybe this ? is generic enough for a new thread. I have a mostly working Plasmac following the user guide....2.7 to 2.9 with plasma c configurator.....driving Mesa 7i76 via Ethernet with Mesa thcad for voltage control. AMD 64 Ryzen is the CPU.
1. Can I convert over to Ras pi4b 4g by etching my working image over to the pi SD card....or in my inexperience is that a trash idea. PI is using it's HDMI output for video. From what I've read latency isn't too bad....maybe core and video tweaking is needed.
2. Or do I start over with the same steps in the user guide only running on the Rpi4.?
All thoughts most appreciated.

If you mean the LinuxCNC configuration directory then yes, otherwise no

Thankyou....we'll rebuild it all on the Rpi4 like we did for the AMD GPU them swap for the working config files
