Z axis torch initially going up instead of down when clicking cycle start

Ok so I got it fixed by finding some settings in my notes that worked. So basically I entered these settings to the Z axis.
 
Now the torch still goes up initially but it doesnt hit the limit and it cuts just fine.
 
Im not entirely sure how these changes fixed my machine.
