Probe_basic paramters not updating.

Im working on setting up my 4 button tool setter for my lathe and in the probing routine i need to know which orientation the tool is so it knows if it needs to probe in x - or x+. the tool orientation is supposed to be in parameter #3013 but it doesnt update and always stays at zero. i am on the development version and i am using the sim.var paramter file. regards Philip

Are you using the mill version? I don't think I ever set up large for probing yet because I had no tool setter. Tell me more about what you're doing. The parameters are for the mill UI.

aha ok im using the lathe version

Yeah Lathe UI is still using the old settings method, it will get updated in the future after the next major mill release.
