probe basic conversational macros missing? was created by directandrew
Hi all,I noticed that SOME conversational macros ( pocketing, Frame etc.) are currently missing from my install from last night? What key detail am I missing? I was under the impression they were part of the build? Im new to this and testing the software on my PC.

See pics

other than that, looks great!

Thinking about this a little more, where is the documentation link to writing custom conversation macros? Basic ones,I can learn on or test.

I have a few conversation mill events in python, but just can't figure out how to try and load them. Looks like I need a gfx screen and then links to the macros. Which then produces some gcode?

Any help or videos would be awesome. I want to add a nice pocket and frame event.

there is no documentation link for writing conversational macros unfortunately that is something you need to know how to code yourself. you could make some subroutine variants fairly easily with the help of chatgpt but test them carefully. existing conversational in the mill was done by someone else outside of the qtpyvcp coding resource pool, and they haven't be active in several years which is why its only partially completed.
