  Hello to everybody
I retrofited two mills , one is complet functional , it work fine , Cincinna Milacro , and other one it is on demand , Leadwell VMC40.
The first is with 7i92+7177+7i84 Mesa Cards , and the second with cards from Yurtaev.com (mithsubishi) , pci card.
On the second mill , when I try to configurate the carousel for homing ,carousel  starts moving , but when I push the estop  to stop the rotate ,  don t stop !, even from desktop estop or power btn . So, I try this for the first one mill to check it ,and ,  unfortunately is the same issue.
The same is when M6 Txx  is requared from MDI , don t stop when estop is pushed , on both of mills.
The carousel have geneva mechanism , both of them with home pin and index pin .The configuration is from examples that are in Probe basic files(M13)
Any advice for eliminate the issue ?
Thanx in advance

Hello langdons
What means 'does linuxcnc display ESTOP?"
I refear to the Estop button from display (Probe basic UI) , when I say even from desktop estop button , or power buton.

Do you mean 7i77, not 7177?

I can't find any MESA 7177, only a MESA 7i77.

The capital i (I) looks too much like a 1.

Sorta like how a lowercase L (l) (ell) looks like a capiltal i (I), or a 1.

Typography is annoying sometimes.

It is important to mention that while the 7i84 can drive inductive loads, you still need flyback diodes to protect the driver from the reverse current spike when the solenoid switches off.

You likely need to condition the carousel control pins with
motion.motion-enabled or similar.

Posting your hal file or at least the carousel portion would
allow a more specific suggestion.

As PCW mentioned those I/O should have some conditional motion safeties in hal, also anything critical that needs to stop immediately should also be wired to a power disconnect contactor to ensure absolute motion halting in the event of a estop. for mine my mushroom button halts both linuxcnc and all drives and motors. for the screen estop its just halting in software. this way i only press the danger mushroom if it is imperative everything must cease STAT!
