excellent. I found some time to test on an older system. It seems newer versions of qt must call synch() automatically, so i added the command to cover older systems.

Hopefully it works for everyone now.


Had a few minutes to try before heading to work this morning, happy to report it's now working well after the latest commits.

You would need to edit stuff manually. IIRC stretch is too old for master now.

Can you run linuxcnc from a terminal and then post the output?
I winder if you are still using python2 or not. There are 4 files to change but I gotta figure out where they are.

I take your post to mean that the process of building linuxcnc took you awhile.  Just was wondering what your process is there?  Pulling and compiling the latest updates usually takes < 1 minute total depending how much compiling is needed.  I think last night was < 3 min.

If you're re-cloning the project each time, you don't need to do that...
