I use qtvcp (pyqt5) and program some Python interfaces myself

You need to jog joints before hoiming and axes after.

For HAL-based jogging this generally looks like

net x-jog-plus joint.0.jog-plus axis.x.jog-plus

(and so on)

ie, you gnerally need to drive both so that joggin eorks regardless of mode.
