My comment on the bearing thing: :S
Nice to have you back.

I might have some questions about anodising eventually, god only knows when. :)

Thanks tommylight . I will be doing more video's on my Youtube channel about the anodizing this year.
Feel free to check it out , maybe it will answer some of the questions you already have . And if it doesn't
I will do my best to answer them.
I have a video on water quality and filters coming soon.
this is my first video on that subject, granted it was a few years ago and much has changed since then.

Nice ! :)
I still have not gotten to that point, also got sidetracked with 2 (and another next week) 3D printers due to a f@#$ up from someone at a local online retailer as i got delivery of a Creality CR-10 MAX for 245.5 Euro delivered to my door! :) :) :)
The first one i got for 446.99 E, the Ender 5 Plus, so last night i also ordered a CR-X PRO for 267E or thereabouts ! :)
BTW, where are the pictures of the anodised stuff ???

Those are the kind of pictures i like, failures included.
Green and purple ones are perfect, the others have some minor artefacts most probably due to parts not being cleaned properly. Am i in the ballpark ? :)
Thank you, much appreciated.

spot on .
I think one of the blems was because I was using aluminum flashing for the cathode material at the time
( I don't anymore ) and small bits of plastic from the protective coating would break off and stick to the part causing
small areas to not anodize. Hence the reason I use pump circulation combined with filtration to make sure
nothing is floating around in the tank.

I finally had some time to put to the cnc lathe conversion. I had to focus on improving and expanding my Anodizing line.
My problem for a while is I have ( not by choice ) multiple projects going and sometimes I have to focus almost all my
time on one of them because my employment necessitates it. Such is life.

I had purchased a small control computer to use instead of the Dell Optiplex 7010 originally intended for this project.
The computer that will now be used is a Dell Optiplex 9020 micro . If you are interested in test results see

I look forward to continuing this build and doing more video's of my progress with it. Sorry in advance for
Youtube's escalating greed in that they have now forced Ads on ALL video's on their platform. I no longer have the
ability to turn them off. Nor am I financially compensated by them. I am looking for an economical replacement ,but that's item 151
of a list of a thousand different thing I need to take care of.
