Hey Folks, I threw together a wee python package to run on a standard LinuxCNC installation. I tend to have  an IP cam watching my machine but I know not everyone wants to do that. This package monitors the internal LCNC status and pings it out to a ntfy.sh  topic so you get "Machine stopped - ESTOP" etc. No account needed on NTFY. You can install the app for free on android or ios, and there's a web page on the LCNC machine showing the stats too.

github.com/bucklevision/Linuxcnc-notify/

Feel free to try it and see if it helps, give me a ping if you find issues or have ideas for improvements.

Free for all, no intention of that changing - LCNC has been a great tool for me, hope this is useful for some.

There seems to be a lot of systems like this recently.
The correct method is to use MTconnect  which is a standards based read only API now included in LinuxCNC master branch.
With MTconnect you can publish the same data to Home assistant which can then trigger automations
mtconnect.org/

This took me all  of 5 minutes to publish to Home Assistant (sorry Linuxcnc is not running right now...)
