NC switches

All are the same. Example Switch 1 X axis. . NC switch One wire is connected to 12 volts(tested), the other is connected at TB8 pin1. When testing the pins TB8 pin 1 to 4 to TB2 pin 8 I have 12 volts with the switches NC

OK if you have 12V at the 7I77 input relative to TB2 pin 8 the 7I77 input pin should real true in hal

if you depress the switch you should read 0V on the TB2 input pin and the
7i77 pin should read false in hal

O.K. I tested each switch to pin as suggested. They all went to 0v.

I opened Hal.Meter

Axis.0.neg-lim-sw-in goes false when the X-axis limit switch is pressed.

Axis.1.neg-lim-sw-in goes false when the -Z-axis limit switch is pressed.

Axis.2.neg-lim-sw-in goes false when the +Z-axis limit switch is pressed.

OK, That means you need to chose the inverted 7I77 input pins for your limits/homes
(the ones that end in -not)
This is expected with NC switches

Yes, you need to add -not to the 7I77 input pin names used for limit/home switches
(so they are false until activated)

You can do this by running pncconf again and checking the "Inv" box
next to the inputs used for home/limits in theTB7 or TB8 tabs or if you don't
want to lose any hand edits to your existing hal file you can just add the -not
to the appropriate 7i77 input pin names

O.K. that got rid of the switch errors.
I can jog the 3 axis.
When I do. I get a joint 0 following error on the x axis. It also jerks hard when it moves, unlike the Y and Z.
