I don't think there will be any big problems with the reconfiguration since the only the difference is in current and power of engines wich are(180v/DC) and the inputs are analog on both version of regulators? and as far as mechanics, pneumatics and peripherals... I don't see the difference ?

Hi you can remove your mail in your post.
I shared my scanned documents provided by Chiron with the machine by dropbox.
I have no current backup of the chirons Hal files on my dopbox.
I can provide the tonight.
BUT they are only working for my machine and are programmed the best I knew then. I used a lot of bash scripts. The could also be done in gcode. But I was more familiar with linux than with machining.
I don't know If I would do it again the same way.

Send me too if you have maybe illustrated schematic for mesa in/out cards to chiron devices like relays,sensors,atc,servos,spidle,end shalters,airblast...
I used Linux 4 a long time ago and unfortunately not for these things ,but cnc management is my profession.

I Didn't draw schematics.
Watt I did was map the connector plugged into the Sinumerik Control to Mesa Bord IO's with a spreadsheet. This is attached in the Data I sent you. I tried to copy the way the Chiron was controlled my Sinumerik drive. And used the connectors with breakout boards to connect to the Mesa boards.
It worked for me. But from my view today, I wouldn't go this approach again. I would wire to the Bords directly and skip the breakout and also change the old relay boards to modern DIN Rail ones.

No need for schematic I found everything in Wechslearme und IOs.ods , just send me when you arrive comressed backup.

Yea sorry this all is/will be a terrible mix of German and English.
Starting with good intentions making it all well documented and in Englisch and then getting lazy

In Europe, I only found mesa here:

but unfortunately most of them are OUT OF STOCK
I wouldn't be surprised if Chinese versions of the cards appear at some point in time because they are not available outside the US
