16000 with all open from bios usb lan serial etc
Under 7000 with all closed from bios.

Warning in inputs you must put pull up resistors to breakout board

At this point the AsRock Q1900M Pro3 seems to be a better option for LinuxCNC

That was after a full screen youtube with no bios changes. I've used it many times for milling and it works fine. Twice I had it pause during a 40 minute job I think due to the screen saver but it resumed without missing a beat.
I wouldn't watch full screen youtubes while a job was running.

Just bought one of these: www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5017#ov to run my machine along with 8Gb DDR3 1600MHz memory and a Pentium G3260 LGA1150 3.30GHz CPU. I'll report back when I get everything installed.
