Mesa 7i95 was created by Gnevko

Hi,

I try to run my new Mesa Board 7i95 with Linux 2.8 and get following message:

"Unrecognized ethernet board found: 7I95 -- port names will be wrong"

At this point I don't know if it's very bad or I can just ignore this message?

That will not interfere with basic operations but to support the isolated inputs you would need to install linuxCNC via source and apply the latest changes that provide 7I95 support

Not yet but the sources are available here:
freeby.mesanet.com/newmesa.zip

( This needs to be unzipped in the src/hal/drivers/mesa-hostmot2 directory and
the included Makefile moved to src )

At first I build linuxcnc without your patch and of course I received the same result as at start, but after I copied files -
something is going wrong hier but I can't understand what exactly:

yes, i checked it more times

copied to following directory: /home/cnc/linuxcnc-dev/src/

Yeah the makefile was missing the latest new module
try refetching newmesa.zip, it should be fixed now

Thank you, I will try it tomorrow. Is it enough just to call "make" command again or I need begin from scratch? I never build something under Linux... till now
