Hello all, I need a little help. I am currently retrofitting a Cincinnati Arrow 1000 with new computer guts and linuxcnc. I salvaged the arrows original computer housing fit the new motherboard and mesa cards to physically resemble the original acramatic 2100. I have been able to get the 7i92h communicating with the 7i77 but it seems like the 7i74 connected to the 7i71, 7i70, and 7i73 isnt communicating. The 7i70 and 7i71 currently connected have the red led illuminated signifying no comms. I am running the 7i92_7i77_7i74d.bit file that was mesaflashed to the 7i92h. Please let me know what is needed to start troubleshooting to get comms up. Thanks in advance.

I had an issue the same. Turned out the firmware was wrong.
Search the forum it was only like 3 weeks or so ago.
Was just checking on my phone So I can’t pull up too much info.

The incorrect bitfile was for a 7I76+7I74 configuration. The 7i92_7i77_7i74D.bit bitfile is correct.
It does put the 7I74 on SSerial port 1, so you must enable SSerial port 1 in your HAL file:

sserial_port_0=00 sserial_port_1=00000

Thanks everyone, I can see the 7i70 and 7i71. I am going to start assigning pins..yay!. One question, when I start axis it gives me a "7i71 channel 1 has old firmware that should be updated" how do I update the firmware? Man I am learning so much in getting these machines moving again.
