Do you know what changed in the ini file?

The last files you attached is that the files after the 2.5.1 upgrade?

To recap and help us find what happened...

You created a config using the Stepconf Wizard in 2.5.0

You upgraded to 2.5.1

Did you run the Stepconf Wizard next or just run Linuxcnc?

Do you still have both copies of the .stepconf files in the config directory? If so can you zip them up and attach them to a reply?

I ran that config in both 2.5.0 and 2.5.1 with the direction of travel the same for X and Y axis.

Thanks
John

If you want to change the direction your machine is moving try changing the sign of SCALE in your config file.

As an example if your scale for the axis you want to change is 5500 change it to -5500.

I have 2.5.1 & my axis travel backwards. Can you tell me how to fix it?

If it is a stepper system, and you configured with Stepconf, then just select the "invert" option for the Direction pin in the parallel port setup for each axis you want to reverse.

But be warned, you might be wrong. For example in CNC X plus == tool to right. In many cases this means table to left.

On my Mill X plus = table down...
