Is it capable of generating G code compatible with your thcud.comp, plasma.hal, touchoff.ngc, etc?

I don't use the thcud.comp I use the thc.comp.

You can modify the post processor in Sheetcam to do whatever you like. I think there is a copy of my post processor on my web site.

Yes, I modified the thc.comp that comes with LinuxCNC for someone to have up/down input instead of the frequency input from the THCAD card.

Ok. Then I have to use thc.comp of linuxcnc without modifications.

I have calculated the torque to my plasma cutting machine and this is 900 oz-in. Can you suggest me any combo servo driver that it is compatible with 7i77?

for any suggestions there are some basic questions that need to be answered:

900 oz-in at what RPM? (to calculate motor/drive Watts)

Do you need AC servos or are DC servos adequate?

Do they have to be new?

What is your budget?

3000 RPM

I don't know in that influence AC or DC if 900 oz - in and 3000RPM are reached with DC servo then I need DC servo.

I need new

The budget is not principal in this case, but the important thing for me is to have a proper functioning.

OK thats a really big servo (2KW) if 900 oz-in/3000RPM is a continuous rating

Is the 900 oz.inch based on maximum acceleration ?

Servo drives will usually provide 2-5 times their continuous torque rating
for a fair percentage of the time, so if 900 Oz in is a peak requirement,
a smaller (1 KW or even smaller) servo would probably do

Is this a gantry machine? what is the mass and desired acceleration of the
most massive axis?

Yes it is a peak torque. I need a 1KW servo.

I need move 85 Kg at 3G (aprox 30m/s^2) is it posible? What acceleration is common in Cutting plasma?

Yes, it is a gantry machine.
