Hi everyone
Has anyone raised this topic on the forum?
Maybe someone has some developments for creating Hal variables in the OPC UA format

Luckily i made it through the first 4 minutes, it was mentioning MS windows, i utterly hate anything MS related!
Not sure how useful it will become as a single comms standard would be very nice, but if history has taught us anything is that standards never get to be an actual standard for most stuff.

About that he explains with the example of Windows is not important. This model applies to Linux and RTOS32 and etc.
It is very strange that very few people know about it.
I myself heard about this thing from B&R engineers a month ago.
Now this standard is used by most PLC developers BECKHOFF (in twincat) and Codesys and etc.
I am now getting acquainted with the theory of this case and I understand that this model is calmly appropriate in Linuxcnc.

Hi everyone.
In short, I've made progress on this matter. This week, I'll likely release the working version of OpcUaHalServer

@tommylight   OPC UA ... server and master was example included on qt package .... is not for free, was develop from siemens, but heavely used on industry4.0 affair .... some brands utilize instead modbus for some HMI because more safe .... good for iot and hmi.... good for some manufactorer that not appreciate show too mutch their data structures .... after these good option develop opcua io module .... so possible talk from Lcnc with more famous hmi on market.

I don't quite understand the point of this lecture. I've made it based on the open62541 library, and it seems that the licensing is all in order. I already have a working version. I'm currently refactoring the code and will release it soon for beta testing :)
