I added the legacy firmware debs to Bullseye and Bookworm yesterday.
You should be able to "sudo apt-get install hostmot2-firmware-7i43" now. Or get it via the Synaptic package manager.
www.linuxcnc.org/dists/bookworm/base/binary-all/
(alternatively hostmot2-firmware-all if you want to install all of them)
