I should have mentioned that if you use home switches as well as index pulse that allows EMC to home at a fast pace while searching for the switch,
then slow down for precise homing while looking for the index.
with just index, homing must use the slower speed (the two speeds are settable of course).
Not sure how long you axises are ....
