Latency Test OK, dennoch Fehlermeldung

Hallo zusammen, ich schon wieder.
Nachdem PCW mich dieser Tage mit dem Start meiner Linuxcnc 2.9 Config einer 7i96S gerettet hat, dass die überhaupt startet, der nächste Fehler:
Ich habe einen Mini PC namens Lenovo ThinkCentre Intel(R) mit core-i5-3470T CPU @ 2.90GHz und 8GB RAM. Der Latency Test zeigte max Servo Thread Werte um die 30.000, max um 1.000.000, (s.Foto)  ich habe den Wert im PnCconf Wizard auf 1.200.000 gestellt, dann auf 1.500.000 um auf Nr. Sicher zu sein. Leider bekomme ich nach Fertgigstellung meiner Config für eine 7i96S immer die Start Fehlermeldung dass es Probleme mit der Latency geben soll. Ist mein eingestellter Wert jetzt zu hoch oder muss ich noch höher gehen? Ich verstehe den Fehler nicht.
(Den XHC-WHB Fehler bitte ignorieren das ist schon gelöst)

Danke für den Link da muss ich mich mal reinarbeiten. Als erstes werde ich mal die Verbindungen tauschen, für die Mesa hab ich tatsächlich einen Realtec RTL8111, der könnte da Probleme machen.
Ja ich habe ein MPG XHC-WHB USB Handrad. Das funktioniert auch.

The RTL8111 is guaranteed to cause latency issues.

Thanks for your doc, meanwhile I changed to the internal Intel 82579 network adapter and the jitter grows worse. Do you think the latest Debian and LCNC versions can do better with this combination? I don't have no choice to change to another 2nd adapter, there is no alternative to the Realtec as 2nd network adapter for this computer afaik.

Jitter is good, even for software stepping so move on.
You can also try
latency-histogram --nobase --sbinsize 1000 --show
to check if there are excursions in latency.

Please type man hm2_eth and ensure the network settings for coalesence are set up.

Hi rodw, thanks for this hint. I havethis line in my hal file: Is that sufficient?loadrt hm2_eth board_ip="10.10.10.10"With the following settings the connection works at once:

That looks like IRQ coalescing is not disabled.
You should get ping times about 1/2 your current values.
(the first ping can be ignored because it includes a ARP request)

what does

ip a

report?
