Creating custom gui with python which interface to use and how?

Hi all,

I've upgraded an old machine using mesa boards and I've got everything set up except the software part. My machine has two axis, one rotational and one vertical. Using Linuxcnc I configured my machine using the xyza configuration and used y and a. However, I want to customize my interface, customize my two axis without the other two , and display different features (plot) and since I'm good with python and matplotlib, I was trying to use gladevcp but following tutorials wasn't really successful. How can I do that?

simply get GEOMETRY = YA into Display
of all Gui Systems and you are on your best guess

Maybe start with Gscreen (the customisable GUI)

to get a coustom Gui runing it takes more then just one tutorial
