Well, that worked without errors and put the kernel module where it belongs.

What happens if you type the following in a terminal window:

halrun
loadrt thcud
exit

i did connections as per specified in your postgui.hal
but no matter what it says thcud.correction-vel pin does not exists
do i need to define that in ini ???

when i run your config it shows following error after i comment out correction velocity and offset as you can see it works
how to solve it ??

as you comment it out
please check the THCUD pinnames

in Halshow
Halmeter
the pins have chand from 2.6 to 2.7

loadrt thcud
addf thcud servo-thread

net spindle-on <= motion.spindle-on => thcud.arc-ok thcud.torch-on

net CurVel thcud.current-vel <= motion.current-vel

setp thcud.requested-vel 15.0
setp thcud.vel-tol 8.0
setp thcud.correction-vel 0.001

There may be other pins or names
