Same error as before: (mis-matched signal names)
net spindle-on => hm2_7i96s.0.ssr.00.out-02
should be:
net spindle-enable => hm2_7i96s.0.ssr.00.out-02
net spindle-on => hm2_7i96s.0.ssr.00.out-02
should be:
net spindle-enable => hm2_7i96s.0.ssr.00.out-02

I've fixed this issue so download the deb again and reinstall.
I have to build a LinuxCNC deb here to test the 7i96S... do that in the morning.
