Qucik and easy kernel & linuxcnc install on Linux Mint 19.x was created by BeagleBrainz
This is for a Mint installation that does not already have a RT_PREEMPT kernel nor Linuxcnc installed.
ie a Virgin installation of Linux Mint 19.x

All kernel packages & linuxcnc packages are downloaded automatically from my google drive.

Download the attached file, open a terminal and in the directory you downloaded to run by
mv install-uspace.sh.txt install-uspace.sh
chmod +x install-uspace.sh
sudo ./install-uspace.sh

Then follow the prompts and off you go. Tested on Mint 19.2 XCFE, MATE should not be an issue.

Yeah great. Just finishing the third linuxcnc on linux mint this weekend. Now you post this.

Yeah I missed that. All that.

I got this down pat with JT's gnipsel page and note I have. It works everytime now, but it is long.

We need a webpage with this. not in the forum unless they sticky it.

Yeah, I missed all that. ok no loss. I am going to dig up another hard drive and create one of these dvd's and test it out and see how long it takes.
