beckhoff modules not working

Hi, I'm having trouble getting recognition of some beckhoff modules(KL1408,KL2408,KL9010) I bought on eBay. I bought the EK 1100 from a separate seller. The  EK 1100 is picked up with ” ~ $ ethercat slaves” as are the sigma7 drives. I've never used beckhoff modules before and am not sure how to tell what the problem is. The EK 1100 could be malfunctioning. All or some of the modules could be malfunctioning. Is it necessary to have the KL9010 on the end to have all modules show as slaves.Of the four LEDs on the EK 1100, the top left is permanently on the bottom right is flashing and the other two are off is that the normal state you would expect from an EK 1100 at recognition. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

KLXXXX are not Ethercat Modules, this is older K-Bus (own Beckhoff) .

this are not usable with ethercat couplers (EK1100 etc.... )

You need ELXXXX Cards.
