Ver 3.1.3.10 Screen won't re-size

I've recently upgraded Lcnc to the latest version of 2.9.   As a result Gmoccapy has moved up from 3.1.3.1  to  3.1.3.10
For some reason the gmoccapy screen won't adjust and re-size to my monitor size and the out side icons are beyond the boundaries of the monitor.
I can't seem to find a way to resolve this.  Can anyone help ?

what screen size are you running?

what make, and model of monitor?

(is it not possible to adjust the monitor to the resolution that works best with Gmoccapy?)

Make is unknown as it is a flat industrial chassis.
I've tried various resolutions, etc but I've reverted back to the max I can select at 1024.
Everything worked perfectly well until this update, so something has changed.
I've since discovered that ALL the gui's via Lcnc do the same, not just Gmo.
All the other linux apps work just fine. It's unique to Lcnc

another dependency missing?

OpenGL or something like that (I really have no clue what could be missing)

Have your tried selecting one of the TK GUI's to see what they look like?

I've tried :
Axis
Gmoccapy
& Dragon
All these behave the same.

open a terminal, type:

linuxcnc

when the dialog pops up, go to sim, and select
tklinuxcnc

and then select
tklinuxcnc

is it now resizable?

tk is kind of the most basic of screens.... it does not rely on much....

Tried it, and that worked fine.

I tried Gscreen, and that resized perfectly as well.

I have also noticed that part of the black 'Plot' window remains 'stuck' on the screen when you swap through different option screens or try to move the Gmo window around the screen with the mouse. It sits there like a shadow and only goes away when you closed down Gmo

More errors with Gmo,
Tried to make some progress with with my original work before it all went south after the upgrade, and now I have more traceback errors whilst running Gmo.
It seems like one step forward, two back and three forward. Very frustrating
I don't know what to do here to get this simple lathe working again.
