Pathpilot V2 and 7i96 MESA Card

One thing to keep in mind is that PP uses routines and outside functions that are not in LinuxCNC. Things such as redis PP relies on a lot to transfer data back and forth between teh GUI and teh Gcode side.

My mission is to stay inside of teh PP functions . That way I get updates when PP updates and new features when PP updates and Tormach does all teh hard work.

I'm about to retrofit a lathe and I plan to use PathPilot V2. For this i was hoping to use a 7i92 + 7i76 but the 7i92 is out of stock both at eusurplus and mesa store..

Has any one succeded to run PathPilot 2 with 7i80db + 7i76?
I have a 7i80db in my mill so it is tempting to use ut in the lathe as well.

I think I found the answer to the out of stock problem myself. I found the DB25M-IDC26 CABLE. I was not aware of that it is possible to connect the DB25 cards to the HDR26 connectors.

Have you considered a 7i76E?

If it works with PathPilot 2, then it is perfekt, but I have not found that it works yet.
