Could you array an existing part? Eg. draw 1, cut 20
Could you save commonly run parts into that shape library?

He did that in the video. The part with inner and outer circle and small circles between them.

The GCode from the shapes is generated in a set format so that I could easily read it to create an array.
Normal GCode is not in this format so at this stage it cannot create an array but it is something I am looking at.

Could you save commonly run parts into that shape library?

No, each shape is actually a separate python script that is loaded as a module.

Haven't anybody considering using NativeCAM? It has all the features that are shown in this video and many more. Plus a nice user interface.
It is also very easy to add new shapes as ngc subs, or you can use external executables to generate gcode.
