I had a look and in Materialverter it defaults to Off if it doesn't exist in the input file. If it does exist in the input file then it follows what is set in the file.
I'll change the default to On.

That will be good. I agree with Rod, the THC should always be on and if someone finds the need to turn it off before or during cutting, then it must be done in gcode or manually.I had a look and in Materialverter it defaults to Off if it doesn't exist in the input file.
