Im a first time newb. Been working on this machine for awhile and I am ready to see it cut. I am running it in mode 0. So that is just a pilot arc triggered by the digital out to relay. When I enable the torch then press the torch pulse, the relay clicks over and the torch fires. But when I run a simple circle from the conversational (saved as .ngc and loaded), it just plots the circle but I never hear or see the torch on light. Anything please!

I was going to ask the obvious "did you have the torch enabled?" but I see you must have if the torch pulse worked.

Could you post a backup of the config (from the Utilities frame in the Parameters Tab or Setup Tab) plus the ngc file that you used.

Well I am now desparate to get past this probing z problem. I have followed the thread regarding the z axis probing issue but I am still getting the bottom limit reached error.
My .ini Z axis and joint - MIN = 0 | MAX = 50
Probe height - I have tried several numbers
Someone mentioned to touch off. I have tried touching off  but am not too sure. A prompt asks for G0 or G54+ others.
I have been at for awhile now!

Are you using PlasmaC or QtPlasmaC?

Assuming you are using a float switch then so long as Z MIN_LIMIT is below the slats by more than the Float Travel then it should be OK.

Does the Float LED turn on at all, try manually tripping the float switch during probing and see what happens.

Using PlasmaC. Should I switch to Qt? I am not using a float switch. I set float travel to 0. Just a Z home switch at the top.
I saw a post where you asked if the float switch light was coming on when crossing material. No light.

Well if you are not using a float switch then just substitute ohmic for float in my prevoius post.

Do you have Ohmic Probe Enable in the GUI?

Ok just enabled ohmic probe...
Would you reference your previous post on the ohmic probe?

So it would be:

Assuming you are using a ohmic switch then so long as Z MIN_LIMIT is below the slats by more than the Ohmic Probe Offset then it should be OK.

Does the Ohmic LED turn on at all, try manually tripping the ohmic switch during probing and see what happens.

Should be min=-50, max=0

So I do not have an ohmic switch or a probe. I thought I could manually set the height. Do I need to have atleast one?
