Pipe cutting can in most cases be done without a THC easily, but i would not do it without a float switch or ohmic probe, it just saves a lot of time.
Cutting the same size for long periods, that is OK.
Then again, having both is nice and makes work enjoyable.

Ok so I wired up a switch to manually close the circuit and connected it to HAL probe-in <= digital.in005. Now I have the probe-in light engaging in the AXIS show HAL configuration. So it flashes when I flip it. But the Ohmic probe indicator at the bottom of the ui (in between THC enabled and float switch) does not flash.

It needs to be connected to plasmac.ohmic-probe only.

You can check this by entering man plasmac in a terminal.
