Do you have a voltmeter?

Measuring the voltage across the torch-on signals will tell you the voltage
(and whether they are AC or DC)

Measuring the current across the torch-on leads with a DVM will tell you
the required current

I do have a multimeter. So turn the power supply on and take a voltage across the pins?

Yes, and you can also measure the current if you meter measures
current but note that when you do this, it will turn on the torch...

Yeah that's what I was wondering, the meter will close the circuit. Right? So if I leave the torch unplugged it should maybe just show an error?

4.5a @ 12.4v for arc start

Nothing on OK to move but I assume that is an input to the plasma from the Mesa. Do I need the OK to move circuit?

On the previous page you said you have an A80. Is that a Thermal Dynamics A80?
They are pretty straight forward. I have an A120

Yes, a TD A80. Seems straight forward from the wiring diagram but absolutely no text on what it takes to be automated, ie voltage, contact style, etc for pins. I am assuming I use the outputs on the Mesa board but one person said that would fry something. The voltage on the arc start pins is 12 and the amperage is 4.5. I have the ok to move as an input on my Mesa ie one conductor in an input and the other in the common. I assume ok to move is the plasma telling the board that things are working in the power supply and it can start cutting.

4.5A seems _VERY_ high
Are you sure it is not 4.5 mA?

I would expect "OK-to-Move" to be a dry contact closure
so requires an external power source

I will check again but I was just running it as a "short" through the meter. Ie pin to pin right through the meter.

That's the annoying thing about the documentation. If it's a dry contact that's great but what is the safe voltage range? Is it a dry contact? Not really sure!!! Just guessing. Srsly thermal dynamics?
