im not sure i understand exactly what you are trying to accomplish. you want 3 colors?
On = Green/Black Flash
Off = Red no flash
??

Off = red/black flash
On = solid green
Or the reverse, doesnt matter.
Right now you can pick an on color and an off color. Which means when it flashes it alternates between the two colors. Resulting in a silly looking LED if one of the two colors isnt black.
Again, not a show stopper feature.

Sounds like a fun project, but at the moment I'm trying to finish getting distribution streamlined for the masses. Which is always fun... but it looks like you a have a good start on it, maybe just need to add a few more lines.

I'll live with it as is, works fine and gets my attention when the air is off.
