Do you mean axes (ie x/y) or actual work planes other than XY?the welds are always in a straight line on one or both planes

Just an Idea stuck me.
Two addtional perpendicular axes after C axis may be used using two small motors to create the weave motion only and may be controlled by arduino.
I may be wrong though.
