Unfortunately, pin 8 is a disable input rather than an enable input so the
polarity of the 7I77 enable outputs are wrong (off until enabled). It may require
a relay with a NC contact driven by say a 7I77 digital output as drive enable.
(I think one relay will work for all axis by connecting all pin 8's together)

Does anyone use jmc integrated servos with a 7i77?
I know they work with pulse/dir but in the manual they mention some kind of external analog instruction, but nothing about +/-10v.
Or is there any other other possibility to drive them with a 7i77?
Manual:

they are not analogue. they are step and direction or ethercat only.

Thanks for the info!
I've ordered a 7i78 now.
Is there anywhere a bitfile for the 7c81 with 7i77+7i78 available?

I connected the 7i77 to p1 and the 7i78 to p2, i assume this is the correct order.
I've tried to modify the hal so that the z-Axis is the stepper connected to the first interface of the 7i78. The encoder for the z-axis is connected to the 7i77. Is this more or less done correctly? (hal is attached).
Since the 7i78 has no enable signals for the steppers, is it possible to use the enable pin from the spindle, since i am not using this? and how do i need to mod the hal?
Thanks!

What are the specifications of the enable input?
You may be able to use a 7I77 field output if it will take say a +24V signal

The enable is a 5v differential input.
The Manual says:
"Enabling signal: This input signal is used to enable or
prohibit; In addition, it can be used to clear the drive alarm.
When ENA + is connected to +5 V, ENA-is connected to
low power, the drive will cut off the current of each phase
of the motor so that the motor is in a free state, where the
pulse is not responded and the alarm can be cleared; When
this function is not required, the energy signal end is
suspended."

Seems like "disable" signal, not enable, as with most cheap drives lately.

Yes, in this case, I would probably just leave it disconnected.
(unless you need to disable the drives so that the shafts are freewheeling)
If you have a free step/dir output on the 7I78 that can be used as a 5V
enable output
