Ok, that looks good.

From the CNC menu can you run the Axis sim?

But something is still wrong if you can't run the Latency Test...

Just for grins did you reboot?

Also boot from the liveCD and run the latency test...

I am a bit stumped, but wonder if it is a graphics driver problem (Axis not starting because openGL won't start).

If you change the display to tkemc do you get the same thing?

If that starts OK (or even if it gets a bit further) then you could try the tip here:

Doesnt work:

Machine configuration directory is '/home/john/emc2/configs/Mantis9'
Machine configuration file is 'Mantis9.ini'
Starting EMC2...
Unrecognized line skipped: POC FMS LEN DIAM COMMENT
Shutting down and cleaning up EMC2...
/usr/bin/emc: line 358: 2664 Killed $EMCTASK -ini "$INIFILE"
Cleanup done

then nothing happens!

Sorry, can you say which of the options didn't work.

I appreciate that this is frustrating, especially when the software is being so uncommunicative about what the problem is.

I will be quite cross if that is still in there.
