Still no real progress with the servos.
When connecting Two or three phases I blow allways a fuse.
When using 1phase and neutral The drives struts but is getting hot.
the old 100V DC for the servo drives used a single phase transformer, so I can't use this ir generate 220V three phase from 400V three phase.
And no feedback from Lichuan yet.
I am kind of stuck here.
It also looks like I killed my handwheels, they don't work anymore. I am not sure if they got 24V instead if 5v while doing the first tests.
Also still waiting for spare parts to fix the oil system.

I started think the project is too much for my skills. To get me on other thoughts I cleaned the courtyard and did some work in the Garden.
But the the weather changed and I can't stop with the lathe now. I have come to far. So back to the lathe.
I Updates probe basic and qtpyvcp and started to Check the IO's and update the Hal files where I made changes during wiring.

I hardwired the power for the chuck control to the spindle enable signal.
So as soon as the spindle starts the chuck can't be unclamped:

And I gave the spindle Motor a brief test:

After this successful test I can start to configure the VFD to be controlled by linuxcnc. And it at least some small progress.

What Typ of Lichuan Drives are this exactly? (Typ Plate...)

Wiring them up with single Phase 230V should give no problems.

I was not able to get on the cabinet doors right now. I parked them at an outside wall from the storage, and sadly at the moment there are a tons of open air stages parts are stored around them.

How far is "Montabaur" from your location?

I found wiring diagram for the powersupply and the three phase transform is a low voltage one and the 100V are made out of a single phase Transformer.
Montabaur ist 160km form me.
I have the A4 :
servo.xlichuan.com/ProductsStd_209.html

As far as I understood it should work with single phase 230V AC.
I write to Lichuan again to confirm. with 230V the control loop is running well. But the main loop is getting hot. I am not sure if the first drive has a problem or I overlooked something.
Maybe I take the risk and try to switch on the second drive. Or start to set them up without the main loop.

How did you connect them?

L1 (Phase) to L1 and L2C ,
N to L3 and L1C,
B2 and B3 bridged ?

Is it getting hot, without motor connected?

I can't find an dedicated Hardware Enable pin, maybe the drive is directly enabled after appliyng Main Power. This could be an reason for warming up. how fast it is getting hot?
