Still not lucky with spindle encoder.
For me now I have one encoder on 7i76 and two on 7i85s but need 3 encoders inputs on 7i85s
After reflash bit file.
Mesaflash give

That should give you 5 encoders:

7I76 encoder 0
7I85S encoders 2..5

With this setup
If moving X axis i see move on encoder0 in halmeter
If moving Z axis i see move on encoder1 in halmeter
And dont see any move on encoders 2, 3, 4 when turn spindle encoder...

I have conected encoders to 7i85s:
0 is X axis
1 is Z axis
2 is spindle encoder

1. First make sure you have the correct firmware for a 7I76 and a 7I85S
(7i92_7i76_7i85sd.bit is correct for a 7I92 with a 7I76 on P2 and a 7I85S on P1)
(your mesaflash listing shows a 7I76+7I85 configuration)

2. Does the spindle encoder work on 7I85S encoder inputs 0,1?

3. Have you verified  the cable connections from the 7I92 P1 to the 7I85S
Non-working encoders might indicate a cable issue.

EDIT: I just tested 7i92_7i76_7i85sd.bit with a 7i92 and a 7I85S and encoder inputs 0..3 on the 7I85S work as expected.

This is the mesaflash readhmid listing of 7i92_7i76_7i85sd.bit with the daughterboard info:

mesaflash --device 7i92 --addr 10.10.10.10 --readhmid --dbname1 7i76 --dbname2 7i85s > 7i92_7i76_7i85sd.txt
