hello everyone,I have just received my 7i96s board, the 5 axes work correctly with my RPI 4 . but I would like to work with an XYZBC trt configuration . The construction is easy with the configurations already proposed in stepconf . but I have no idea how to convert /establish the same configuration with Pncconf which is MESA oriented but without predefined configuration. Could someone please help me?Thank you

Replied by PCW on topic Which Mesa Card Should I Buy?
The LinuxCNC parts (kins etc) of the configuration files of a Mesa or parallel
port setup would be basically identical. The per joint low level stepgen setup is
different but that the main change.

what about the availability? i haven't been active here for a long time. 2 years ago the 7i76e was not available, currently it is not available either. did it ever come back? or should i better use another card? i already have some 7i76s in use and would like to use the same hardware on all machines...

Replied on the other topic in German, so here it is again:
Get a 7i96S, it has less IO, so if you need more get a 7i84 with 32 in and 16 out, can be usually found at www.eusurplus.com and easy to wire together with a cut LAN cable.

The 7i76E has been phased out. The 7i76EU is the replacement . Yes it is currently out of stock. However, I am sure
they will be back in stock soon. The first batches of them were available back in October and they seem to have
sold out quickly. Just keep checking the Mesa store.
