yip, looks like the whole crypto mining industry is controlled by zynq 7010

dont' forget you would still need a breakout board which will move you much closer to a price of mesa board if you are after hostmot2.
 

Network works under linux, LwIP is only needed if you do baremetal programming without the linux OS.

yes, the reason i was looking into LwIP maybe it can act as w5500 or eth2spi bridge so RIO can be ran natively. hopefully my jtag arrives soon and hopefully it will have correct eeprom compared to my last one, so i can finally start doing something practical instead of just being theoretical. 

The w5500 plugin already works, you can use RIO on this board without the ARM core. Only problem is, i don't know how to write the bitfile permanently to the flash.
