Will do. i have tryed to start and it report a fail. Will soon be back.
My linuxcnc is in my workshop and are completely disengaged from the internet.

That information contains no clues as to what the error is.
Open a terminal and type then post the terminal output of that command:


linuxcnc /home/hsh001/linuxcnc/configs/hhmill/hhmill.ini

Are you sure you are starting the right config? I thought your config was named my-mill, so that should usually be my-mill.ini

I must have made a f-u now i cant get in touch with the machine controller, So tomorrow i will go and one off my freinds who nows about linux but not cnc and get him to get it up and running . I will get get back to you tomorrow afternoon danish time one our before UTC.

Ok. I am back again. We worked with the CPU and it was diiff. to see whar the problem was but we found it, the parralelcard in the CPU was not in contact it had moved so the CPU couldt not see it. That was fixed, but then there was an issue with the software,some is fixed so the CPU is starting up the CNC is starting up but there is no contact betwen CPU and the CNC mashine. I am sending you a copy of the config files please read them at tell me what the proplem are .

So what is the error?

Open terminal and type
linuxcnc -l

This should start the last used configuration and then we need the text output in the terminal window.
