5i25, 7i77 problem was created by jlviloria
hello.

well first thanks for all the help you have given me, is that sometimes i ask such trivial things.

Now I have a problem, I do not move the jumper and try to feed the 5 volts the board "7i77" but the W5 jumpers (jumpers that manufactures) and the board jumper W2 "5i25" (I have not moved the jumpers that comes by default in any of the two cards) I burned both jumpers.

Now the question is, is damaged?

what would be the correct way to feed the 5volts the board "7i77"

thank you very much.

Jorge

Please please read the 5I25 and 7I77 manuals before applying power and set the jumpers appropriately

If you want to supply external 5V power to the 7I77 you should set 5I25 jumper W3 down (no cable power)
and 7I77 W5 to the right hand position

The 5I25 and 7I77 have PTC protection on the 5V power but there is no protection
if the 7I77 is jumpered for cable power and the 5I25 for no cable power

thanks peter.

Now I solved my problem is in the interpretation of the English, I am just a 20% knowledge of English, and thank God it worked.

Now if testing ....

Friend I also buy the 7i64, with cable.

I need to connect it to remove the connector TB6 and connect the cable coming from the 7i64?

thanks ...!

If you have the cable yes, remove the connector on the
7I77s TB6 and install the 7I64 cable there

If you do not have the cable, there are instructions in
the 7I77 manual for making one

john greetings,

I connect in ENAX-and ENAX +? You use siemens drives also can help me.

I'm using a table "5i25" + "7i77" + "7i64"

Else friend, Rick (LAIR82) that I can not square the spindle motor of your machine because it was DC, how complicated is squaring these types of engines?

Reliance maxpak plus 50hp.

I have one Siemens drive in my CHNC and I made connections to velocity input and enable to make it run.

I don't understand what you mean my "squaring these types of engines"... by engines do you mean servos? I don't have a clue what you mean my squaring.
