the 7I76 is most likely connected to P3

OMG yer awesome...W1 back to default....moved W2 to enable and now after 4 hours i get a goofy yellow light on upper left on the 7i76.

So now it'd probably take 100+hrs to get Linuxcnc to use the setup lol

Apply field power and you can have _two_ yellow lights.

The 7i76 I/O needs 8 - 32vdc field power connected to TB1 Pins 1(+) and 8(0vdc) to work.

Was wondering at what amperage is suggested, i'am just trying to set up the limit/home switches as well as the E-Stop

The card itself needs about 40 mA with 12V field power (and 20 mA at 24V)
You need to add any output and input loads to this
(input loads are ~0.6 ma each at 12V or ~1.2 mA each at 24V)

So 6 limit/homing switches and 1 E-stop and the card would be around ~~ 5-6amps plus at 12 volts. maybe i can find a Wall wart, safe to assume its DC the 7i76 takes?.

No, around 44 mA (40 mA + 7 inputs x 0.6 mA)

This 0.044 Amps

And yes, DC
